Setting up local section webpage

Hello, I am the new webmaster of ESN Teiste. I have never used Drupal and I am quite confused. I mean that I don't understand why our local section site without login shows nothing and when I am login it shows almost everything. Anyone can help me please to figure out what is happening?

Change of section

Hi guys :D
I have changed section, so before I was in ESN Odense, now im in ESN Copenhagen. When I try to change my section in my profile is says something with a malicious attempt to change something out of my field? Can anybody change it for me or is there somehting im doing wrong?

FTP Login refused

Hey!

I'm trying to update the core of drupal 7.

As far as I understand from the documentatin I have to update all files from the server except the /sites directory.

I'm unsing FileZilla to do so. Btw i'm also using KeePass to store my Galaxy password.

The Login is refused because of an "invalid password". Even though I'm using the password to login on Galaxy which works just fine. 

Any ideas what got wrong?

Could some special characters be the issue?

Cannot create new password to webmaster account

Hello ESN galaxy,

I am Andrei Moldovan, webmaster from ESN Timișoara. I have two accounts on timisoara.esn.ro, one that can edit only content, and one with full rights ( admin, editor etc.). Unfortunately, I cannot recover the latter, I tried to reset the password, but on saving the new password, it directs me to the same page, making a red contour on the field with my e-mail address ( which I checked, it is correct). 

How can I reset the password?

Roles in galaxy

Hey!

I have a question regarding the roles in ESN galaxy. The new local rep of ISN Leiden has already been active on a local level in ESN Estonia and now I can't seem to assign her to a local level role in the Netherlands. She also can't apply for one. 

Is there a simple solution for this or does she have to create a new account with a different email address?

Satellite 4.6.7 partners block clipping

I recently created a multisite with the new version of ESN Satellite and noticed that Partners block is always clipping with other content below it, as seen in the picture 1. Happens on multiple sites.
Wanted to ask if this is because of me, or is this a satellite bug?

Problem with the login as admin of the website

Hello!

I can't access to admin role to the website since the Galaxy is updated with the new look. I tried with the tutorial from the helpcenter with these steps:

  1. Go to sites/default
  2. Edit the settings.php
  3. Set $update_free_access = TRUE;
  4. Access http://your-domain.com/update.php
  5. Set $update_free_access = FALSE;

But it doesn't work. When I type www.my-domain.com/default, I get the page with the  message:

The requested page "/default" could not be found.

Am I doing something wrong? How can I solve the problem and log in as adming of the webiste?

I am not an IT expert, so this is a bit troublesome for me.
