Hello ESN galaxy,

I am Andrei Moldovan, webmaster from ESN Timișoara. I have two accounts on timisoara.esn.ro, one that can edit only content, and one with full rights ( admin, editor etc.). Unfortunately, I cannot recover the latter, I tried to reset the password, but on saving the new password, it directs me to the same page, making a red contour on the field with my e-mail address ( which I checked, it is correct). 

How can I reset the password?

Not mentioning if you had Galaxy login working this would never happen :)
I'd suggest to turn it on.

Hi there Andrei,

What does it say in the error message?
That's the huge red box, it's full of other errors, but your password reset request error should show up there as well.. as the last message I suppose..

Since you have Galaxy login disabled I can't login to help you.

If you don't get your email, you can still do couple things.. in case you have the access to your database however. Do you?

  • You could turn on Galaxy login
  • You could change your user email and possibly password (but it's not that easy, link below)

If you have the SSH access to your server and possibly Drush installed, than that's another story, you could use Drush to reset your password easily.

But anyways, check out this article how to recover your password (btw. first one on my google search results).
