In case you need assistance with your Satellite instalation, selected ITcom members can have a look and log in as administrator into your system. For that you need to use and properly set Galaxy login module (CAS).

  • Have a look at  ESN SatelliteGalaxy integration
  • Check "Give the International WPA and selected IT Committee members access to help you."
  • Depending on your Satellite version now please check the settings:
    • Navigate to Configuration > People > CAS settings > Roles
    • In CAS roles mappingsadministrator field scroll on the end of expression
    • In case ITSupport is missing at the end of the expression, please add it (it has been introduced recently), so the expression ends with: (webProjectAdministrator|ITChair|ITSupport)$/ 

NOTE!

  • This will put your role settings to defaults, in case you're using some custom settings or you're not sure, check and better save it from all fields at Configuration > People > CAS settings > Roles first!
  • "selected IT Committee members" means WPA, IT chairs and IT Support team members.

Before you ask for help

Perform FULL BACKUP (both files and database), this is something we'll ask you anyway ;)
