Satellite 4

Hello, Is there a way of upgrading Satellite without losing your content? Can I just keep using my Satellite 4.3 database or should I start with a clean db?

In order to update, you have to replace everything in your root folder (/) but the sites folder.

Then just go to www.exemple.com/update.php and that will update your database.

It's like updating drupal ;)

Just make sure you did a backup of the DB and files before that in case something wrong happens.

You shouldn't be removing your database when upgrading on any 4th version of Satellite to the newer one. (The loss of information was only when going from 3 to 4)
