When creating a new account, a link in to your profile is generated with the following structure: accounts.esn.org/user/YourUsername

But for some people, they end up with a link like the following: accounts.esn.org/user/23255

Id est, 5 digits instead of a username.

All these accounts aren't allowed to be added to the section by searching by the username nor the associated digits, even if such username is shown in their profile.

Out of the two cases I've observed in my section, one of them had an unusually short username (3 letters) I don't know if that can help to identify the problem.

Can you think of a solution?

Thank you! :)

Hi Diego,

Thanks a lot for letting us know!

The URL alias is not created when the user has not activated the accoun through the e-mail validation. The account is then in a blocked state and can't be used anywhere in the system. Simply activating the account solves all of this....
