My problem is that if I create a News (for example), than it only stays in the Spotlight for 1 day and then the Spotlight disappears. It doesn't seem to matter what I set for a start or end date for the news.

you can also reset the Features.. or just have a look at Views in Structure.. find Spotlight.. that's where the settings is.. down there on the left, time conditions are there as well

Hey Balázs,

In order for a node (news, event, partner etc) to be in the spotlight, it has to have a Spotlight image uploaded, and the Promoted to frontpage enabled in the Publishing options. And obviously the content itself has to be published.

If these settings are set up properly, but you still experience your issue, then please provide us with the link of the website, so that we can look into it.
