Would be nice to see roles in common view so I don't have to click on every single user in order to find what does he do.. also when I open some section, its quite tough to find out who is eg. president

The idea of the Galaxy roles right now is not so much about showing what that person does, but rather giving that person proper rights on particular services.

In Galaxy 4 the concept of roles will be reworked and then it will have more sense to look at it as on positions.
